Amber Adams, President

My name is Amber Adams and I am honored to be serving on the PTO board. Last year I was culture night chair and have been room mom for one of my kids for the past 12 years, I love being apart of my community. I have my degree in education from North Central College from Naperville, IL . I am a former teacher in Forsyth County. I have taught 1st, 4th and 5th grades. I love being in the school with the kids and can’t wait to make this an amazing year for all of your families.

My husband, David and I have three kids.  Luke will be in 8th grade, Addison will be in 4th grade and Avery will be in 2nd.  As a family we love to travel and hang with our family that lives close by.  Outside of school our kids keep us very busy from travel baseball to competitive dance . I am looking forward to meeting the Sharon Families!!

Suzy Sarkady, Treasurer

My husband Steve and I have four children, two human and two canine.  Our oldest daughter Sammie spent 6 wonderful years at Sharon and is on her way to middle school.  Our youngest daughter Erzsi will be in third grade this year.  Our two pups Millie and LuLu round out our crazy, loving family!  I am a proud graduate of Georgia Tech and I work full time in operations and finance at Northside Hospital.  I love to read, play tennis, and foster kittens whenever my husband will let me.

I have served as Father Daughter Chair and Room Parent Coordinator for multiple years at Sharon.  I have also spent two years representing the parent community on Sharon's Local School Council. I look forward to serving on the board this year to support our wonderful school.

Anna Cahill, Secretary

My name is Anna Brown Cahill and I am honored to be serving as the PTO Secretary this year. I am a
proud mother of four. Two of my children, Nolan (1st grade) and Quinn (4th grade), are happy to be
Sharon Knights! My son, Jack, is a junior at South Forsyth High School and my eldest, Emma, is a
sophomore at Berry College. When we are not running between sporting events and extracurricular
activities, we enjoy spending as much time as possible at the lake, swimming and hiking with our golden
retriever, Josie.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Georgia in Child and Family Development and a
Master’s degree from Brenau University in Early Childhood Education. I taught elementary school for 13
years in Gwinnett County before hanging up my teacher’s hat six years ago to join my family’s corporate
travel management business. (Talk about a career change!) I am excited to be spending more time back
in a school environment to support our amazing teachers, students, and administrators at Sharon!

Pauli Wade, Parliamentarian

My name is Pauli Wade, and this is my fourth year serving as the Parliamentarian for the PTO.  Previously I served as the PTA Treasurer for two years and I enjoy these opportunities to volunteer alongside a group of amazingly dedicated parents and school staff.  Two of my 3 children are attending Sharon Elementary this year: Mara (5th grade), and JT (3rd grade). Mac will be in 8th grade at SFMS.

My husband, Chip, and I are the owners of Wade Works Creative, a cross-over Architecture & Design Firm and Real Estate Brokerage.  We are both Ramblin' Wrecks from Georgia Tech with a passion for all things home, design, and creative. We never imagined that we would use our education in this capacity, building a business together, but it was just such a natural fit of our complementary skill sets being able to provide a service to homeowners when there was a void in the market place.  If we aren’t working, we are hopefully embarking on some outdoor family adventure like hiking, riding ATVs, or bow-fishing.

Morgan Costolnick, VP of Fundraising

My name is Morgan Costolnick and I have 2 children at Sharon this year. Mason is in 5th grade and Lexi is in 3rd grade.  My oldest, Jackson, is off to South Forsyth Middle for his 7th grade year.  We have been a part of the Sharon community since 2017 and my husband and I feel extremely blessed to get the opportunity to send our kids to the best school around.  I have been room mom throughout the years and enjoy volunteering in the classroom. My favorite event to organize is Bingo night.

I graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with a degree in Education and taught at a private school in East Cobb for 3 years before staying home with our first son.  Once all my children started attending Sharon, I decided to pursue a career in real estate.  It has been 4 years since I made this leap and I am so glad I did.  My husband, Will, works for Hire Dynamics in finance.  We are always on the go watching our children play sports but enjoy the occasional date night at the golf course.

Carly Brown, VP Student/Family Events

My name is Carly Brown and I am excited to be serving on the PTO board.  I have a great appreciation for our entire Sharon staff and a passion for connecting student families to memorable experiences at school, so I am grateful for the opportunity to volunteer.  I graduated from the University of West Georgia with a degree in Early Education and taught elementary school for Fulton County as well as PreK at JCUMC. I love being involved in the school with my two girls, McKinley (2nd Grade) and Millie (Preschool) and nurturing their passion for learning.

My husband and I grew up here and are committed to contributing to our wonderful community.  We feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful school. Outside of school hours we enjoy exploring local parks, coaching our girls in swimming and lacrosse, and being together with friends and family.

 Jessica Lemoine, VP Academic Affairs
My name is Jessica LeMoine and I am excited to be serving on the Sharon PTO board this year as VP of Student Affairs.  This is my first year of being a part of the PTO but I was on the board in our previous elementary school for a number of years.  Our family moved to Suwanee, GA in the summer of 2019 from Stamford, CT to be closer to family (my sister lives across the street now!)

My husband Glenn and I have three children.  Our youngest, Ellyse, will be a 4th grader here at Sharon.  Our oldest son, Luke will be a Freshman at Lambert High and our middle son, Julian will be a 7th grader at Riverwatch Middle.  I am a graduate of Loyola University of New Orleans.  I spent 3 years in research at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans.  Then after moving to New York I worked for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals for 6 years as a sales rep.  Then I became a domestic CEO after my kids were born.  I currently am loving being a real estate agent with Atlanta Fine Homes, Sotheby's International Realty.

My husband is a graduate of Tulane University.  He is a hedge fund trader and portfolio manager with Alpine Capital based in New York City.  We stay busy with all of our kids hectic schedules in travel baseball, football, soccer, and dance.

Catie McDonald, VP Community and Cultural Events

My husband Jason and I have three children: Owen is in 1st grade, Allison is in Kindergarten, and Ethan is 3 years old. Our family moved from Oklahoma to Forsyth county in December 2021, and we are loving the community we've found here. We enjoy camping, hiking, and exploring all the fun areas available just a short drive from home.

I have my Bachelor's degree in Education from Oklahoma State University and taught middle school Language Arts for six years until I left to stay home with our son. I am currently a freelance writer and the staff Grant Writer for Georgia Transplant Foundation. This year I served as the Cultural Night co-chair and a classroom mom. I know firsthand how hard teachers work, so I'm thrilled for the opportunity to get involved to support our teachers while impacting our kids' education.

Colleen Hight, VP Communications

We chose our home 15 years ago for the schools, and have had nothing but amazing teachers since our 2nd & 4th grader started at Sharon. I have had a number of different roles on PTO in the past (and I'm so glad I gave it a try!), and I love volunteering at Sharon and at our church. My husband Rob & I are both proud yellow jackets from Georgia Tech. He's a "hell of an engineer," and I run a boutique photography studio in Suwanee. Our family loves taking trips, cheering on our kids' sports games, roller coasters, game nights, Mario, and our sweet, slightly mischievous Beagle rescue.

Blake Banks, Volunteer Coordinator

My name is Blake Banks and I am so excited to be the Volunteer Coordinator for the Sharon PTO this year. My husband and I both grew up in Georgia, and love raising our family here. We are a new Sharon family- my daughter, Birdie, is in Kindergarten this year, and our other daughter, Bennett, is 3 and in preschool. We have loved our short time at Sharon, and feel so lucky to be part of this community. I can already tell it is a special place! I love helping people feel connected, and have already really enjoyed helping parents find a place to volunteer at the school.

I graduated from the University of Georgia and now work at North Point Community Church in the Care Ministry. My husband, John, works in the building supply industry. Our family loves to travel to the beach and the lake, and I enjoy reading, cooking, and tennis!

Sheena Gutenburg, Member at Large
My name is Sheena Gutenberg and I moved to Cumming in 2020 from Las Vegas. My husband and I live in Three Chimneys Farm with our three boys and our furry little guy, Leo. We currently have a third grader and an incoming kindergartner attending Sharon Elementary and we have loved getting to know the entire Sharon community from the administration, to the teachers, and especially the Sharon families.  Outside of school we like to play tennis, laser tag, foosball, and to swim, and we are so happy we found our home here in northern Georgia. I am originally from Hawaii and was studying to be an elementary school teacher when life took me in another direction. But who am I kidding? Raising these three little men has mom and teacher rolled into one informal but highly rewarding role!

Lavanya Paraparthy, Member at Large
My Husband Harish and I met in college more than 22 years ago and have been married for 15 years now. We relocated from Hyderabad, India to Atlanta 14 years ago and made this our home - prior to that we lived in Leeds, UK for a couple of years where we got our masters degree. Before moving to the Forsyth county, we have spent almost 8 years in the beautiful Alpharetta area. My older son, Ahaan - now an 8th grader at Riverwatch middle, has been lucky to have exposed to Sharon elementary and the wonderful staff for 4 years. My younger son Sid - a 1st Grader with Mrs. Craig equally enjoys his time at Sharon now. We are an outdoor loving family who travel a lot, play tennis, hike over the weekends, and in the pool.

I head the Global IT Procurement at Kimberly Clark - where the people culture strongly resonates with my personality. I am also a passionate portrait photographer when I have spare time and love doing family & kids portraits. I have a strong IT background and I am looking forward to serving on the board and supporting our school over the coming years.
