Jennifer Davis, President
My name is Jennifer Davis and I am excited to be serving as PTO President this year! Our family moved to the area in 2015. I graduated from Auburn University and worked for an Outdoor Therapeutic Program for Children for 3 years then moved to Atlanta where I worked in QC for Mortgage Assurance Company until 2015 when I decided to stay home.
My husband Tim graduated from Ole Miss and works for Bank of America Private Bank. We have 1 daughter at Riverwatch and 1 son at Sharon (3rd). We are so appreciative of the care and love for our kids at Sharon. I have been room mom for 6 years, volunteer in the classroom, and began substitute teaching at Sharon this year. Last year I served as the VP of Fundraising and this year I am looking forward to seeing all of our parent community face to face! Our family loves taking trips to new places, and cheering on our kids in ANW training, basketball, flag football, golf, and baseball. We are members at Grace Chapel and I volunteer for The Place of Forsyth. Sharon has done so much for our children, and I am happy to give back in this way.
Suzy Sarkady, Treasurer
My husband Steve and I have four children, two human and two canine. Our oldest daughter Sammie spent 6 wonderful years at Sharon and is on her way to middle school. Our youngest daughter Erzsi will be in second grade this year. Our two pups Millie and LuLu round out our crazy, loving family! I am a proud graduate of Georgia Tech and I work full time in operations and finance at Northside Hospital. I love to read, play tennis, and foster kittens whenever my husband will let me.
I have served as Father Daughter Chair and Room Parent Coordinator for multiple years at Sharon. I have also spent two years representing the parent community on Sharon's Local School Council. I look forward to serving on the board this year to support our wonderful school.
Marissa Ambery, Secretary
My husband Jonathan and I have two wonderful children. We moved here last year from Johns Creek, where both my husband and I grew up. I have served as room mom and as a troop leader for Girl Scouts.
Previously, I worked as a paralegal at an Atlanta based law firm. Currently, I am lucky enough to stay home with my kiddos and do some freelance work part-time. I am so excited to be a part of the Sharon family!
Pauli Wade, Parliamentarian
My name is Pauli Wade, and this is my fourth year serving as the Parliamentarian for the PTO. Previously I served as the PTA Treasurer for two years and I enjoy these opportunities to volunteer alongside a group of amazingly dedicated parents and school staff. Two of my 3 children are attending Sharon Elementary this year: Mara (4th grade), and JT (2nd grade). Mac will be in 7th grade at SFMS.
My husband, Chip, and I are the owners of Wade Works Creative, a cross-over Architecture & Design Firm and Real Estate Brokerage. We are both Ramblin' Wrecks from Georgia Tech with a passion for all things home, design, and creative. We never imagined that we would use our education in this capacity, building a business together, but it was just such a natural fit of our complementary skill sets being able to provide a service to homeowners when there was a void in the market place. If we aren’t working, we are hopefully embarking on some outdoor family adventure like hiking, riding ATVs, or bow-fishing.
Morgan Costolnick, VP of Fundraising
My name is Morgan Costolnick and I have 2 children at Sharon this year. Mason is in 4th grade and Lexi is in 2nd grade. My oldest, Jackson, is off to South Forsyth Middle for his 6th grade year. We have been a part of the Sharon community since 2017 and my husband and I feel extremely blessed to get the opportunity to send our kids to the best school around. I have been room mom throughout the years and enjoy volunteering in the classroom. My favorite event to organize is Bingo night.
I graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with a degree in Education and taught at a private school in East Cobb for 3 years before staying home with our first son. Once all my children started attending Sharon, I decided to pursue a career in real estate. It has been 3 years since I made this leap and I am so glad I did. My husband, Will, works for Hire Dynamics in finance. We are always on the go watching our children play sports but enjoy the occasional date night at the golf course.
Katie Reeder, VP Communications
My husband Dan and I have four children: Bennett, a 5th grader, Campbell, a 3rd grader, Davis, a 1st grader--all at Sharon--as well as Anna...our feisty, red-headed, four-year-old. I work from home as Director of Public Relations for a communications firm based out of Florida and graduated from Clemson with a comm degree--so wordsmithing is my passion and I love being able to share that with the Sharon community.
I'm a member of the Public Relations Society of America and my family is active at Johns Creek Methodist Church where I've also enjoyed serving in various capacities, including several years leading a group focused on connecting and encouraging moms. When not at home, church or the school, find us at the fields cheering on our favorite rascals.
Kimberlee Jensen, VP Student/Family Events
My name is Kimberlee Jensen. My husband Kai and I have 2 cute boys... Marshall (9) going into 3rd grade and Gabriel (5.5) going into Kindergarten at Sharon. We moved to Georgia at the end of 2019 from Utah. My husband Kai is a senior manager at Morgan Stanley/E*TRADE and I work part time as a Radiation therapist at Northeast Georgia Hospitals.
We are loving being here in Georgia and have grown closer as a family in the short time we have been here. In Utah, I worked full-time and didn't feel involved with my children's education. I'm now taking a step back and focusing more on quality time with my family and myself! I enjoy Dr Pepper and a good soft cookie! I also enjoy being crafty, or attempting to be! I'm having fin slowly painting the rooms in our house. I also love to sew! And as a family we are enjoying finding new hiking trails, biking, and swimming.
I'm looking forward to being involved more and also getting to know more people and places in this beautiful community.
Khayti Patel, VP Academic Affairs
My name is Khyati Patel. My husband Purvesh and I have 2 amazing kids: my daughter Sanjna (15) who is a sophomore at Lambert and my son Kahaan (9) who is in 5th grade at Sharon. We moved to Atlanta two summers ago from Toronto, Canada after being there for the last 15 years. I work full time for a corporate travel management company – BCD Travel. I oversee the North American Customer Care department for my company. Even though we have been in Atlanta only for a year, we absolutely love being here. My kids have always been in private school in Canada so I was very skeptical about moving them to the public school system. However, I am so glad I did. I am extremely impressed by Sharon Elementary and feel Kahaan has grown tremendously in the last year at Sharon. I feel the commitment of the teachers, admin staff and the parents is a key to making Sharon such a great school. Even though I work full time, I wanted to contribute to this amazing organization. I am very excited to be part of the PTO board! I look forward to meeting and getting to know the other Sharon families in the coming year.
Jennifer Brackins, VP Community and Cultural Events
My name is Jennifer Brackins. Our family moved to the area in 2019 from Northern Virginia. I am a graduate of The University of Tennessee, GO VOLS! I worked at an international law firm called Baker & McKenzie. I currently stay home with my boys, and am super grateful for that. My husband Phillip is a graduate of The University of Michigan, so our house is very much divided.
My husband and I have two boys. Henry is in 2nd grade and Jackson is in 1st grade. We have a sweet little dog named Gracie Mae. I love to give back to the community in lots of different directions. I have been room mom for my boys, Team Mom, Feeding Friends, Mission Trips, Sunday School Teacher, helped with HOA, and Swim Team Volunteer Coordinator. As well as many other church, school, and sports activities. I love to play tennis, hiking, and traveling. As a family, we love to do anything outside, from hiking, kayaking, fishing, and of course going to the beach. This is my first year and opportunity to serve on a PTO Board. I am very excited to meet many Sharon Families and contribute to this amazing school.
Melanie Whipple, Member at Large
My husband, Jeff, and I have four children: a 5th grader at Sharon, a 8th grader at South Forsyth Middle, and 10th and 11th graders at Lambert. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I was in advertising sales at WTOP News Radio in Washington, DC. We moved to this area in 2005 after our first child was born, and have been part of the Sharon Elementary family for the past nine years. When we aren’t cheering for our kids on the field, the court, or the stage, we love spending time at our “happy place” on Bald Head Island, NC. I’m thankful to be a part of the Sharon community, and I look forward to serving on the PTO board this year!
