My husband Jason and I have three children: Owen is in 2nd grade, Allison is in 1st, and Ethan is 4 years old. Our family moved from Oklahoma to Forsyth county in December 2021, and we are loving the community we've found here. My name is Andrea Ivie and I am so happy to serve this year on the PTO board. My husband Jim and I have two daughters. Ella is a 5th grader (yes, this will be an emotional year for me!) along with Avery in 3rd. We also have a 1 year old cream golden retriever named JoJo that we adore. We joined the Sharon community in the summer of 2019 and couldn’t be happier with our decision. We have been extremely grateful for the hard work, dedication and love provided by all the staff at Sharon.
I have given of my time helping with the spring formal event the last two years, room mom duties, and the Sharon Robo Knights Robotics team. I also assist teaching PreK at Johns Creek Baptist Church and as a therapist at a hotel resort spa. As a family we enjoy attending our church, visiting state and National Parks, theme parks, attending our kids’ activities such as soccer, flag football, robotics and spending time with friends and family.

I am a proud graduate of Georgia Tech and I work full time in operations and finance at Northside Hospital. I love to read, play tennis, and foster kittens whenever my husband will let me.
I graduated from Georgia State and worked in marketing and start-ups, until I left my job to stay home with my kids. We love to be outside and when we’re not, we’re usually at dance. I love to be involved in all aspects of my children’s schools and can’t wait for an awesome year!
My name is Carly Brown and I am excited to be serving on the PTO board. I have a great appreciation for our entire Sharon staff and a passion for connecting student families to memorable experiences at school, so I am grateful for the opportunity to volunteer. I graduated from the University of West Georgia with a degree in Early Education and taught elementary school for Fulton County as well as PreK at JCUMC. I love being involved in the school with my two girls, McKinley (3rd Grade) and Millie (Kindergarten) and nurturing their passion for learning.
My husband and I grew up here and are committed to contributing to our wonderful community. We feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful school. Outside of school hours we enjoy exploring local parks, coaching our girls in swimming and lacrosse, and being together with friends and family.
