 Jessica Lemoine, Secretary

My name is Jessica LeMoine and I am excited to be serving on the Sharon PTO board again this year, in a new role as Secretary.  This is my second year of being a part of the PTO but I was on the board in our previous elementary school for a number of years.  Our family moved to Suwanee, GA in the summer of 2019 from Stamford, CT to be closer to family (my sister lives across the street now!)

My husband Glenn and I have three children.  Our youngest, Ellyse, will be a 5th grader here at Sharon.  Our oldest son, Luke will be a Sophomore at Lambert High and our middle son, Julian will be an 8th grader at Riverwatch Middle.  I am a graduate of Loyola University of New Orleans.  I spent 3 years in research at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans.  Then after moving to New York I worked for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals for 6 years as a sales rep.  Then I became a domestic CEO after my kids were born.  I currently am loving being a real estate agent with Atlanta Fine Homes, Sotheby's International Realty.

My husband is a graduate of Tulane University.  He is a hedge fund trader and portfolio manager with Alpine Capital based in New York City.  We stay busy with all of our kids hectic schedules in travel baseball, football, soccer, and dance.

Catie McDonald, VP Fundraising

My husband Jason and I have three children: Owen is in 2nd  grade, Allison is in 1st, and Ethan is 4 years old. Our family moved from Oklahoma to Forsyth county in December 2021, and we are loving the community we've found here. We enjoy camping, hiking, and exploring all the fun areas available just a short drive from home.

I have my Bachelor's degree in Education from Oklahoma State University and taught middle school Language Arts for six years until I left to stay home with our son. I am currently a freelance writer and the staff Grant Writer for Georgia Transplant Foundation. This year I served as the Cultural Night co-chair and a classroom mom. I know firsthand how hard teachers work, so I'm thrilled for the opportunity to get involved to support our teachers while impacting our kids' education.

Andrea Ivie, Parliamentarian

My name is Andrea Ivie and I am so happy to serve this year on the PTO board. My husband Jim and I have two daughters. Ella is a 5th grader (yes, this will be an emotional year for me!) along with Avery in 3rd. We also have a 1 year old cream golden retriever named JoJo that we adore. We joined the Sharon community in the summer of 2019 and couldn’t be happier with our decision. We have been extremely grateful for the hard work, dedication and love provided by all the staff at Sharon.

I have given of my time helping with the spring formal event the last two years, room mom duties, and the Sharon Robo Knights Robotics team. I also assist teaching PreK at Johns Creek Baptist Church and as a therapist at a hotel resort spa.  As a family we enjoy attending our church, visiting state and National Parks, theme parks, attending our kids’ activities such as soccer, flag football, robotics and spending time with friends and family.

Blake Banks, Volunteer Coordinator

My name is Blake Banks and I am so excited to be the Volunteer Coordinator for the Sharon PTO this year. My husband and I both grew up in Georgia, and love raising our family here. We are a new Sharon family- my daughter, Birdie, is in 1st grade this year, and our other daughter, Bennett, is 4 and in preschool. We have loved our short time at Sharon, and feel so lucky to be part of this community. I can already tell it is a special place! I love helping people feel connected, and have already really enjoyed helping parents find a place to volunteer at the school.

I graduated from the University of Georgia and now work at North Point Community Church in the Care Ministry. My husband, John, works in the building supply industry. Our family loves to travel to the beach and the lake, and I enjoy reading, cooking, and tennis!

I have served as Father Daughter Chair and Room Parent Coordinator for multiple years at Sharon.  I have also spent two years representing the parent community on Sharon's Local School Council. I look forward to serving on the board this year to support our wonderful school.

Shauna Brown, VP Cultural & Community Events

My name is Shauna Brown and my husband and I have 2 kids. Our oldest is a 3rd grader at Sharon, and youngest will be starting preschool. We’re new to the Sharon family, but not new to the community. We’ve lived in this area, nearly our entire life. I’ve been room mom for numerous years and absolutely love volunteering in the classroom.

I graduated from Georgia State and worked in marketing and start-ups, until I left my job to stay home with my kids. We love to be outside and when we’re not, we’re usually at dance. I love to be involved in all aspects of my children’s schools and can’t wait for an awesome year!

Carly Brown, VP Student/Family Events

My name is Carly Brown and I am excited to be serving on the PTO board.  I have a great appreciation for our entire Sharon staff and a passion for connecting student families to memorable experiences at school, so I am grateful for the opportunity to volunteer.  I graduated from the University of West Georgia with a degree in Early Education and taught elementary school for Fulton County as well as PreK at JCUMC. I love being involved in the school with my two girls, McKinley (3rd Grade) and Millie (Kindergarten) and nurturing their passion for learning.

My husband and I grew up here and are committed to contributing to our wonderful community.  We feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful school. Outside of school hours we enjoy exploring local parks, coaching our girls in swimming and lacrosse, and being together with friends and family.

Colleen Hight, VP Communications

We chose our home 16 years ago for the schools, and have had nothing but amazing teachers since our 3rd & 5th grader started at Sharon. I have had a number of different roles on PTO in the past (and I'm so glad I gave it a try!), and I love volunteering at Sharon and at our church. My husband Rob & I are both proud yellow jackets from Georgia Tech. He's a "hell of an engineer," and I run a boutique photography studio in Suwanee. Our family loves taking trips, cheering on our kids' sports games, roller coasters, game nights, Mario, and our sweet, slightly mischievous Beagle rescue.
